I am an artist and educator specializing in Japanese Manga, and an Assistant Professor at RIT.

I’m currently working on my first graphic novel, Azuki, and am represented by The Writer's House.

I'm the Founder and Director of the Manga Training Academy and I run a program in Tokyo that connects U.S. students with the Manga industry.

I am a U.S.–Japan Leadership Program Fellow (Class of 2025–26), a binational fellowship for leaders across sectors shaping the future of U.S.–Japan relations, and I serve on the board of the U.S.–Japan Bridging Foundation, a scholarship organization supporting American students studying abroad in Japan.

Outside of the classroom and studio, I am a lifelong martial artist and former professional boxer.
